Software Engineering Process Improvement
Research and Development Group
Scope
The scope of this R&D group (SEPI) is to investigate existing software
development processes/techniques and to propose improvements and/or
conceive novel ideas relating to software development. The main aim of SEPI
should always be the betterment of software creation with respect to both
product and process. The group will address issues involving software
qualification and quantification.

Research Activities
Apart from the actual individual research activity, more "visible" research
activities will include supervisory meetings, peer meetings, public talks,
demonstrative presentations, scientific publications, and conference
presentations (as per availability).
Overview of the Research Group
The SEPI group will work on more than one specific project.
Envisaged tracks include quality specification and control,
security standard development for e-commerce, component engineering,
and requirements engineering.
